Hi there,

I'm facing a problem in my datafeeds.

Some time ago I have created some mashapps and some datafeeds and they all work right.

Now my client want to update some mashapps and so some datafeeds to.

When I change something in my datafeed I allways get the error access denied in the url to my webMethods service. If I invoke the service in the browser, the service return results with no problem.

So I'm not sure what the problem is. The mashzone is installed in the same server as webMethods integration server.

Can anyone help me with his. I'm really frustated about this.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

is the wM service password protected? Did the password change recently? As long as your browser returns the service's XML/CSV results it should be fine.

For further troubleshooting you may create one new data feed in MashZone to check if the problem persists.

Hi,

Thanks for yowr answer.

I resolve it. It's a permissions problem. I have to change the ACL of the wM services to can access it.

But, I don't know why this occur because all my mashApps are running before this problem happen.

Do you know where I can change the user that mashzone uses to access my wM services?

Best regards,

I assume basic authentication method has been used to protect the wM service.

The credentials are stored in MashZone data feed, next to the data source operator.

Yes, you are totally right. I'm not using athentication, so obviously I have to use it.

But when I saw the error log I saw a local user and I made a confusion.

Thank you for your help!

Is there any way to supply those credentials dynamically - user input or from another data feed? With many data feeds going to the same data source, maintaining and migrating the mashapp/datafeeds is difficult when we have to find and update all the userid/passwords hidden in the feeds like this.
