Could anyone help pls, I'd like to know about the similarities and differences between ARIS Architect (ARIS 9) and ARIS Cloud Enterprise. As far as I know, ARIS Cloud is web-based, ("thin-client"), Architect is not ("rich"). Besides that, is there any major differences considering the features? We'd like to introduce a process modeling tool and we need all the features ARIS Cloud Enterprise offer, but not in a web-based method. Could you tell me pls, if ARIS Architect 9 has all of the features Cloud has, and if more, what is that "surplus"?
ARIS Cloud Enterprise, similar to the other ARIS Cloud editions ARIS Cloud Basic and ARIS Cloud Advanced, is based on ARIS Connect in a hosted environment. Hence it's a public cloud offering (=BPA-as-a-Service).
And when you review the capabilities of ARIS Cloud Enterprise on http://ariscloud.com/features.htm most of the unique features are provided by ARIS Architect as download client.
