Is there a way to modify the "performs" relationship so I can connect the person type and position objects in an EPC (Column Display) model?

Currently, I am manually creating a catalog of all person types a position can perform in an Organizational Chart. Ideally, I could create this relationship in the top row of the EPC and then write a simple report to pull that relationship and summarize the information.
