The metadata for the data source assigned to a control is not updated when the name of the data source is modified. The metadata only shows the original name of the data source when the control on the page is created.

After a new tab is created or changing the order of the tabs, the tab menu has wrong value showing. The property of the tab is correct and the run-time is correct. However, in the developer view, the metadata of the tab on the top bar is not correct.
I inserted a new tab and created the view. I then changed the order of the tabs. After saving the form and re-opening, the tab menu does not match the actual form. It is correct at run time. I believe there is an overall problem updating the metadata assigned to controls on a form. Other controls on the form also have outdated Metadata.
This has caused me to update the wrong tab or controls. This is creating a lot of extra re-work.
