We need a support to import list of objects and their attributes in our ARIS process database.
We have a list of more than 100 objects of each type: Documented knowledge, Document, KPI, Risks, IT Applications, Positions.
Each object has a list of 8 attributes. Out of 8, 4 our standard attributes like Description, Title etc. and remaining 4 attributes are user defined attributes.
We have tried using ARIS process generator but there are few challenges, (please refer attached slides)
1. In the list of objects, some of the object type are not available. For example object type “Document” is not available. We can only find documented knowledge (please refer slide 1)
2. In the list of attributes, there are some of the attributes list available which are different than the one we required (Standard and user defined). There is no option to add user defined attributes there. (please refer slide 2)

Hello Amit,
I advice you not to use the aris business generator to import mass datas.
Just :
- copy the list of object name from excel
- paste as new objects (right clic on aris group / new / object / paste)
- copy and paste you objects + attribute from excel sheet to other excel sheet from columns to rows (special paste)
- copy attributes in row from excel sheet
- select all created objects in Aris and open attributes windows (f8)
- paste attributes
warning : check alphabetical order : can be different from aris to excel
warning 2 : place new objects in a model to avoid deleting with reorganisation
