Has anyone successfully printed an ARIS model (I specifically need to print an EPC that is modeled from left to right, not top to bottom) on an HP Plotter Printer? If so, please share any tips and metrics that you've used to do so. Thank you!

Dear Carolyn,
Did you run into an issue already when printing your model on an HP plotter?
I used to print out huge ARIS models on an HP plotter (very old one: DesignJet 750C+) on A0 paper (36 inch paper role). Never had any problems.
Nowadays, plotting is no more needed nor recommended for single ARIS models, since good modeling practice demands us to split up complex/long processes into smaller parts, and if needed, to use process interfaces to indicate a continued process chain.
Does this help?
Cheers

Thank you, Rune. While I actually discourage the printing of ARIS models ("Need to see them? Go to ARIS Business Publisher to be sure you are seeing the most current version.") I have been asked to print some for the purpose of doing team reviews.
However, I'm also eager to be able to post these models in public places to get more "press".
I've been doing some experimenting and the only workable option is apparently to copy the model to Microsoft Paint and print from there. I have put a few hours into this and cannot get the ARIS settings for printing to comply with those required by our HP Plotter.
I'm still curious to see if anyone else in the community has faced this and if tips can be shared.
If I can come to a workable solution, I'll post that here as well for the benefit of others.
Thanks to all for your help with this.
Best,
Carolyn

Hi Guys,
I have printed on plotter printers in umerous occations in teh past. The following worked for me in all cases of models specially in EPCs which are modelled horizontally.
1. Copy paste the Model in Microsoft Excel.
2. Using the "Picture Tools" tab in Excel first rotate the picture to the left, then resize it in such a way that the width and height will be a ratio of the size of the platter page. Please try this a couple of times and I'm sure it will print out just fine.

Hi, all,
I finally had success with printing from Excel (thank you, Dinesh Ghanta) and printed using 42 x 100 as the custom paper size, and being careful to create the right print area as a single page. I had multiple models pasted into the Excel workbook and had them separated by colored rows, and my client was very happy to be able to see all the models for a single process component on one "page."
Thanks to all for your help!
All the best,
Carolyn

Dear Bahram,
You can right click on the picture and open on a new browser tab. That would be this URL:
