If you would like to assign an EPC model which represents further level of detail for a function within an EPC model, is there a best practice for how to handle functions, events, and process interfaces between the higher level and detailed EPCs? I have not nested one EPC below another before, and am looking for modeling standards advice for this scenario.
Cheers!

The lower level model should begin with the same event that precedes the function in the parent model. It should also end with the event that comes after the function in the parent. Process Interfaces don't really apply here as they are used to connect models at the same level. They are a navigational shortcut so that the viewer does not have to go back up to the parent model to get to the next process at the detailed level.
