I have been wondering, when analyzing your processes and identifying potential improvements, how do you do it?

Maybe some of you are using ARIS Business Simulator or ARIS Easy Simulator to find bottlenecks and take decisions based on qualitative Business Process Analysis. But how do you make sure that your KPIs and overall objectives will actually be met with a change of that process?
