I have compiled some thoughts on the "relationship" between processes, the IT function, and the CIO (Chief Information Officer) in a blog article on www.enterprise2punkt.at

The article sets out to answer the following five questions:

  • Which role IT should/could/must adopt regarding the design of business processes?
  • What is necessary for successful process innovation?
  • (IT) sucess factors for process optimization alignment with business departments
  • What business process management mistakes a COI should avoid
