Hi,
I am trying to 'Add Server' from from SOA Architect to connect to Oracle Express Database.
But I get the error - 'Unable to connect to server. There is no service available for the port you specified.'
Can someone please tell me if I can connect to my database and use it as a repository (instead of the default derby db)? I am working on the licensed SOA Architect version.
Any inputs/pointers will be appreciated.

Thanks for the prompt response.
I understand ARIS Architect can only connect to ARIS Business Servers.
Now, do I need to get another license for ARIS Business Server ? ( I already have license for ARIS SOA Architect)
My Goal is to port my models in Oracle BPA to SOA Architect. So, I think I can use the Share Blueprint option/exporting the xml files for it.
Please suggest I missed any other options.

please give us more information to understand your problem.
Just as an explanation: the ARIS Architect or Designer can only connect to ARIS Business Servers. The ARIS Business Server host Business services and functionalities. To store the business data, e.g. your models, the ARIS business server itsself is using a database management system.
You just can't connect via the client (ARIS business architect or designer) to any database management system. You need an ARIS server, which uses a DBMS.
