I need to get the details of the template used by an object. Is it possible to write a report/macro which will give the template used for an object along with the model.
I Know getTemplate() will work for Models and not on objects.
So is there any function which will the template details used by an object?

as far as I know, this is not possible. The problem is, that at the moment, you are setting a template, the properties of all occs are set as defined by the template. But the occs don't get the template, they only get the properties (like color) as defined in the template.
The only way would be to read the properties of the template and compare them to the properties of the occurrence you are checking. And as there are no methods for this, you would have to create a new model, create a new occ in this model and then set the template to the model. Afterwards you could compare the occ properties...
