is there a possibility to definine any stochastic values or distributions for start events?
I hoped to define it in a process instantiation model. According to the help, one can't edit it in the designer but through an assistant. But nothing pops up on creation of this model type.
We want to model for example, that a start event occurs only a few times during a month and more often in the end of a month.
Any hints?
With ARIS Business Simulator (the simulation product for ARIS Business Architect) probability distributions are not supported for process instantiators at the moment.
But you could manually define instantiators which generate instances with a higher frequency later in the month.
Note that you have to use the model type "Schedule" with ARIS Business Simulator. Once you have placed a calender event in the model you can edit its instantiation pattern by opening the context menu and choosing "Edit --> Process instantiation..."
