If I have a GUID from an ARIS Business Publisher URL link how can I find this model in the ARIS repository?
I can't navigate in the ARIS Business Publisher because the model is no longer published.
Hope someone can help.

Hi Clyde,
A very easy way to do it, without scripts or macros, is to execute the report "Export attribute values for translation".
Select the principal folder of the database and execute the report selecting only 'models' and export into Excel file. Then it'll very simple to search and obtain the name of the model in that excel sheet based on the GUID number you have from the Publisher.
Hope it has been useful for you.
Kind regards
Jaime
There is no elegant and quick solution that I know of. It's been a long time dream of the ARIS users to be able to search by GUID the way they do with attribute filter in "Find".
So, here is a clumsy but still relatively quick solution. Go the the group you think your element is likely to be or if no idea - to the main group. Then run on it the report "Export attribute vallues for thanslation" (Category: "Standard"). There the first column shows GUID and you can search for your element (models and objects are listed in diferent Excel sheets). Then back in ARIS you can search for it using some unique attribute.
If you have more than 65,000 objects, then you can export the DB content as an XML.
Hope that helps. And of course I'm more than curious to learn other solutions.

P.S. Well, it seems you got the same suggestion while I was writing this comment.
