Hi,
I am using ARIS Architect through ARIS Cloud (version 10) and am trying to organise the objects in my models into folders (groups). I can see all of my objects in the Model Explorer and can individually move them into a new folder. This is taking a very long time as I am unable to select more than one object at a time in the Model Explorer.
Please could someone let me know how I can select multiple objects in the Model Explorer and drag and drop them into a new group?
Many Thanks

Hi,
you best do this in the "Explorer" instead of the "Model Explorer". The latter is the navigation window you see with an opened model.
Select a group in the Explorer tree. On the right hand side you get a list of models or objects. Toggle this with the buttons above the list view. In this list you can sort objects by type or name and also do multi-select with the usual mouse and keyboard operations (Ctrl, Shift in combination with mouse-clicks). With a multi-selection you can move all selected to any group you want.
Note that there is also a clean-up report to move objects to where they belong. This is particularly useful, if you moved the models around a lot, but forgot to do a "Move here with objects". Before using this in your production database gather some experience with it in a test database, because it is very powerful and you can get done a lot in one go. But it requires a little planning.
Note that it is good practice to keep the objects in the same place as the models that govern the objects, i. e. where there is a model owner who is also responsible for the object shown in the model. E. g. a role object created first in a process usually is in the wrong place and it should go somewhere where the owner of the role descriptions governs the collection of roles in some model type.
