Possible solution to acess ARIS models using ARIS designer from internet without software instalation

Hi All,

Please let me know if there is any way of accessing models using IE without ARIS instalation. I want to share my models with my SMEs but they dont have ARIS setup and its not posible to have it instaled on there machines.

Sure, that's what ARIS Business Publisher is meant for. You probably want to put it in a secured network, but besides that, all a user needs is a recent browser.

Thanks for the response.

I know about ARIS Publisher and I am also aware that there is aprovision that we can use ARIS Designer using s web client for editing models without installing ARIS software. I just wanted to know how we can avail that service.

Does than require a seperate license?

Where do I find that hyperlink to get access of my repository diectly from a web client interface?

You are talking about the so called download client. This is just the ordinary ARIS Business Designer, but on first startup, the necessary files are downloaded automatically. You launch it by accessing a special web page.

I guess the setup is documented in the setup and admin handbook available on the installation DVD. You might also want to contact our support in case you got a valid support contract. There is probably no need for additional licenses, but again, this can only be clarified if our support team takes a look at the concrete software contract you purchased.
