Help needed: Importing and editing ArchiMate and BPMN models in ARIS Cloud (Web Interface)

Hi,

I would check the filter that is applied to the database. You can easily do that by right-clicking on the database icon that says "sample content" (your second screenshot). I would make sure, for such use cases, that the filter is set to entire method.

If you are, however, testing your use case in the basic version, then it can relate to the unavailability of that model resp. that the content you try to import is too sophisticated (see screenshot below; left basic, right advanced)

Veronika is right, you need ARIS Advanced. With ARIS Advanced (also free trial) you can download the Java (Windows) client Architect & Designer (sub menu under your account icon):

Unfortunately, there is no Architect in ARIS Advanced for new/demo customers.

Only if the customer had the subscription with Architect BEFORE SAG decided to take it from Advanced, then yes, the customer could have an Architect. For new ones, it is not available.

thx for your information. Good to know for new customers. Do you think, that the web administration in the actual version of Advanced can replace the Architect totally? Is the Architect still available in the Enterprise version? Do customers need a special license? 

I just made a short check and it seems for me that at least the administration configuration functionality (method, filter, template) is implemented now. What I am missing (and that is what I criticized in earlier posts) is a transparent documentation by SAG-ARIS what is available in the web administration and what is not available with a detailed timeline. Is it a 1:1 transfer of the functionality, i.e. only a web interface of the existing functionality in Architect? Do you have more information?

Actually, they've already replaced Desktop Admin with Web Admin. Everything that you have in the Desktop version is a Script editor, and that's all, you can do nothing in configuration for now (screen is from ARIS Advanced Administration):

From the license's point of view, Admin on the Web is a Room management role, and you can have as many Admin licenses as you have Designer licenses; there are no extra payments for the Admin role. 

Regarding functionality, the web is, of course, a pale shadow of the Architect, with most of its functionality replicated. However, there is another question about the quality. I don't know how it is possible to work there after Desktop.
