What is the reason for you to run ARIS under bootcamp on an apple mac? Because it is a java application run it directly under MAC OS (see installation instructions - on other systems).

Thank you for the suggestion. But why should I use a show-off OS when I can have a decent one? It would be very inconvenient to reboot every time I wanna use ARIS. So I prefer to install it under Win7. I just cant figure out what the error trys to tell me.

What java version did you install (32bit or 64bit)? I think there are other posts that mentioned to use 32bit java to run ARIS?

I think it is better to run windows on a PC if you prever to work with windows...! In my opinion MAC OS is the better OS but that's personal because of my own experience.

I installed the 32bit Java. After the error mentioned above, this one pops up.

Thanks. File is on my desk now. What am I supposed to do with that file? Where do I clear the Java chache? Cheers

You have to start the express.jnlp with the jawaws executable. This can be found in the JAVA_HOME/bin directory (usualy "C:\program files\Java\jre6\bin"). You need an active internet connection, because this file uses the online installation procedure (javaws.exe express.jnlp).

You can clear the java cache within the java configuration tool (java) under the settings for windows systems. Excuse me if i do not have the correct notation, because my windows systems is installed in german.
