ARIS Business Architect 7.0 have problems in Win Vista

I used to use ARIS 7.0 in 2006 and today I tried to use it again.

I installed ARIS 7 on my PC successfully, insert License Key and so on.

When I started Business Architect Module, there come a Windows system message tell that "color configuration table changed to Vista standard".

And when I try to open or create a model, the windows crash!

There comes THE blue screen and it makes memory dump.

In 2006, I used this in Windows XP probably and now it is Windows Vista.

My PC is HP 6730s model with 3GB of main memory.

Can anyone help me? Or give me a right contact for this problem?

Hi there,

ARIS Business Architect 7.0.2 is certified for the OS's below:

- Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Professional + Service Pack 1 or Windows XP Professional + Service Pack 2a

- Windows 2000 + Service Pack 4

To use the application in a computer with Windows Vista (Ultimate or Ultimate Editions only) you got to use ARIS version 7.1.

Dear Park,

please try the following:

Start the Aris Admintool. If the command line tool opens and tells you there's no connection simply close it.
The start the Business Architect. Now Windows should not crash when BA connects to the local database.
