In this post series previewing the highlights of the upcoming ARIS 10 SR6 release we have already presented great new features for business & IT alignment and process mining. To hear all the details register today to our virtual product release event on October 9-10-11.
Today we talk about GDPR─The EU General Data Protection Regulation.
You met the deadline and feel like a superhero? Great job! But what happens next? Data protection shouldn’t end as a deadline met. It should be built as a sustainable practice across your organization and turned into a competitive advantage. ARIS provides you with best-in-class tools to ensure GDPR compliance sustainably and become a Data Protection Hero who champions the GDPR practices that will give your organization a competitive edge.
Highlights are:
- Method extensions
- Questionnaire templates
- Dashboards
- Reports
The ARIS accelerators for GDPR offer enhanced method extensions, templates and questionnaires for data protection impact assessments, evaluations, dashboards and management reports to ensure good data protection practices.
ARIS supports the documentation of processing activities with a new record of processing activities model. With the SR6 release the fact sheets in ARIS Connect have improved to enable more convenient data maintenance.
Survey management was enhanced with questions depending on given answers, automatic numbering of questions, and question detail information. New questionnaire templates facilitate the documentation of results of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), the Processing Activities Documentation (PAD) and the qualification of application systems.
Further improvements for DPIAs comprise a report which gives an overview of the information gathered for one processing activity, including the assessment results, questionnaire data and issues. DPIA dashboards show the progress and results of DPIA assessments and detailed information about issues generated from the answers given.
An ARIS Aware out-of-the-box dashboard gives an overview of risks and controls assigned to a process, the current workflow progress, and results of risk assessments and control tests based on data from ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager.
If you want to learn more about it and other improvements of ARIS Governance, Risk & Compliance Management register now for our 2018 Product Release Virtual Conference on Oct. 9-11. Dr. Helge Hess, head of ARIS Product Marketing & Management, will introduce the new features live. In a Q & A session you will have the chance to ask your questions directly to the experts in a live chat.
