I followed the advices of Mr Frank Weyand but we still cannot import the Visio charts into Aris Express.
We have the version visio 2007 and exported it as a VDX.
And we also got the information of importing the visio VDX data. But then nothing appears.
Have you an idea what could be the problem ??

Hi,
the problem is that the file you're using does not contain a "diagram type". Express needs the diagram type to map it to an Express model type.
Maybe you imported the data from an older version, because older Visio versions did not have that kind of classification like Visio 2007/2006.
What you can do: create a new chart in Visio (having the right type, e.g. EPC or Organizational chart). Copy your content from the "invalid" file into the new one. Store the new one again into VDX format and import in Express again.
Maybe you can attach the Visio file also here, so we can check it. You can remove the names of the objects, if the content is confidential.
