I am trying to create the configuration so when a control ID (control number) is added to a task, this will be displayed with the task. This is for EBPMN.
In EBPM, currently we have the tab showing the Risk and Compliance header, which contains an area for Controls. To enter the control/s, there is a link to pick up the control/s from the control library.
Under Convention > Available Templates> I selected the relevant template (edit)> eg. Manual task (edit) > “Edit attribute placement” > Now here is the issue…I cannot find the correct attribute to be added.I already added to potential attributes both named Control ID, but they are pulling the data from Other Attributes.
I expect the control value is to be taken from Risk and Compliance area, where i already selected the value from the controls library.
Any suggestions?
I received some info from a key ARIS contact.
It seems that for applications ARIS has the customized report ‘Update function with connected system’ that run in the background, reads connections of functions to application systems and updates the respective attribute with the right value, and this attribute is used by the template to show the value under the function. Currently this is not in place for Controls. If needed, [Software AG] can extend the same report and functionality for controls to update a specific control attribute as per the mapped connection.
