Hello,
I'm looking in to the possibilites with the documentation attribute for maintaining mainly business process related descriptions. Read somewhere that the attribute is not available through Business Publisher and I started wondering what it's intended use actually is? I know that it can be used in reports but is there anything else? Is it available in Connect?
Please share your opinion and way of using the attribute.

Hi Erik,
In contrast to the Description/Definition attribute the Documentation can contain e.g. images, hyperlinks and tables.
To specify the attribute you should consider a specific procedure (described in the Online help, Topic 'Create an external description'):
You can describe database and model items (models, objects, groups, etc.) using formatted documents or other files and save these documents in the Documentation attribute. If you are using the Microsoft® Word file formats DOC und DOCX, a preview is available and the Edit button is available. To do so, you can create the documents directly from the Documentation attribute.
Prerequisite
You are using a method filter that contains the Documentation attribute.
Procedure
The document is added to the Documentation attribute and a preview is displayed.
Kind regards,
Dagmar
