I have read a couple of threads describing a script based approach to achieve the ability to control color etc. of an object based on an attribute value. I would like to achieve this without scripting and have found that attribute symbols might be a way.
However, It is nearly impossible to control the size of the attribute symbols as derived symbols seems to inherit properties from the original symbol. Making symbols larger etc. has no or little effect i ARIS. Making attribute symbols scale with object symbols seems impossible.
Is there anyone who can explain how to use symbol editor properly to achieve this?
