Is there any possible I can define the necessities for the Aris User Passwords, so the Passwords can only be set in a certain way f.e.:
Maximum password age (Password change after): 45 days
Minimum password length: 8 characters
Required password complexity: Combination of big letters, small letters, numbers and special characters (!,#,?,_, ...)

Yes, on the portal UMC you can define the policy of password there you have these options:
UMC > Configuration > Password Policy
General >
Minimum length
Maximum length
Minimum number of lowercase letters
Allow uppercase letters
Minimum number of uppercase letters
Allow numbers
Minimum number of numbers
Allow special characters
Minimum number of special characters
Special characters = *$-+?_&=!%{}/
Expiring Passwords >
Activate expiring passwords
Password lifetime (in days)
Advanced settings >
Force change after reset
Force different password
Force change before first login
Activate reset confirmation
Link lifetime (in minutes)
This is handle by the ARIS UMC... if you active the LDAP synchronization them all password policy will be handle by AD.

Thank you so much for your fast answer.
1) We do not have active LDAP synchronisation
2) In my ARIS UMC portal the Password Policy attributes look like this:
I managed to change a few parameters, but I am still missing some:
Minimum password history: 10 passwords (at least 10 passwords are saved)
Account lockout threshold (Password lock after): 5 attempts (I only fount that I can lock a user for a certain time)
Storing password with reversible encryption
Minimum password age: 1 day
3) A user had a problem to change his password, he got the error message "you do not have the privileges required for this action"
How do I enable the user to change the password themselves?

Hi Eva,
Sorry for delay to answer... please ask to your user go to UMC page and click on the 'forgot password' the page will ask to provide the username and if this is correct will receive an email to reset that.
If still have issues, provide some screenshots...
