after synchronizing a project from Solution Manager to ARIS, I'm getting some warnings in the log file that say:
Creating: Role 'xxxxx'
WARNING: Unable to create occurrence of role 'xxxxx' in the relevant model because the maximum number of roles in the model has been exceeded.
is there a solution for that, maybe increase the maximum number of roles .... how?
thanks,
Eyad
hi Eyad,
currently there is no solution for that. the reason is, that for the role mapping a lane model is used which allows only one row of SAP roles. if the row is full and more roles are available this warning is produced but the roles are created as object definitions in the role folder
you may now think that adding a second role model and continue with that would help, but the problems will then just be shifted. if you are really working with the role mapping (map the SAP roles to your buisiness roles), you may have ordered or rearranged them in some way, so that it is not possible for the synchronization to find the right place in the right model where a new role (which was created in SAP after the last synch) has to be added. the user would have a lot of manualy work to find the occurences and move them to the right place, and that is the reason why only one model is created.
but maybe it would be just a good idea to skip this warning in the log file...
