Hi Budi,
I opened a ticket and receied the following answer:
There is a server switch that activates the behavior without the functionality to filter implicit connections.
With the command: set designer.allow.add.all.lanes true
In the ARIS Server Administrator, the behavior when inserting rows can be adjusted.
Best,
Veronika

Hi,
I'm not using the model type, so I can only guess... but maybe it helps anyways:
Have you checked the filter? Are you using the same filter in Architect as you are in Connect? I've seen similar error messages that result from different filters.

Veronika

Yes, I am using the same filter (Entire Method). My concern is that I need some license to do it, and I hope that's not the case.

It is the same story, but it looks like a bug because I have all the privileges for my user, and I also cannot add the column in Connect Designer. In ARIS Cloud the same bug

Even with the filter "entire method" the model is not available in Aris Architect/Designer in my installation (SR27) but in Aris Connect with the same problem described here. What's the difference between the filter "entire method" in Java client vs. Web client?

Didn't ARIS just recently publish a new help? Maybe there's something in there that's useful?

Yes, I've read the new help page. There doesn't seem to be any new content there. And unfortunately this type of model doesn't seem to be mentioned in detail, especially for ARIS Web.

Hi Veronika,
It worked! Note that it only works for the lanes/row.
In order to work on the column/categories, we can enter the command line:
set designer.allow.add.all.categories true
Thank you so much!

I saw, that the original request was solved.
Has anybody an idea why there are differences regarding the available model types in the Java client and in the web client? In both cases the filter is "entire method" and it is shown in the list of model types in the administrator part of ARIS Architect/Designer. It's also not language dependent. The model type mentioned in this thread and the model type SIPOC are examples.

I am not sure that it is a licence issue. I just checked it and in my environment it is not possible to have different licences/rights in Connect (web) and Architect (Java). In the meantime I have found four model types which are available in Connect and NOT in Architect/Designer (BSC, fishbone, IT architecture, SIPOC).
Mysterious?
