Beside some really nice impressions of Denmark’s capital city Copenhagen, being at ARIS ProcessWorld on tour gave me the opportunity to hear some really interesting thoughts and to have some nice discussions with people from all over the world until now. What I have in store for you in this article is the keynote of Dr. Wolfram Jost, member of the executive board of IDS Scheer AG and among others responsible for the ARIS products . After Peter Gérard, CEO of IDS Scheer AG opened the day by welcoming all participants, Dr. Jost took over with his speech, titled “Ubiquitous BPM through new ARIS Innovations”. After looking back to the history of ARIS Innovations in the years 1992 (when the first version of ARIS Toolset was released) until 2002, Dr. Jost showed the new ARIS innovations in the years 2009 and 2010. IDS Scheer already came up with 4 new, innovative products this year, another two are going to follow soon:

ARIS Community, the Online Community for all interested in BPM and ARIS. Released 6 months ago we have already 14.000+ members registered and I think this is not yet the end of the line. Have a look at our various groups to find the issues you are interested in and to share your ideas with people from all over the world.
• ARIS Express is the first free Business Process Management (BPM) Software from the market leader IDS Scheer and can be downloaded free of charge here at ARIS Community. As the participants were able to see in a live demo ARIS Express provides an easy start into the issue of BPM also for beginners and occasional users.
• ARIS MashZone enables employees without any programming experience to combine different data sources based on a particular situation or task and visualize the results in attractive mashapps. Not yet released but the beta test for MashZone is running at the moment. We’ll keep you posted…
• ARIS Process Performance Manager 5 got a completely new in-memory architecture, which stores data directly in main memory. This delivers outstanding speed for analyzing process information and extracting the required data.
• ARIS Process Governance, the Software for Flexible, Efficient Automation of Management Processes.
• ARIS Rocket Search, the First Web-Based Search Engine for All Process Data. With ARIS Rocket Search you will be able to easy access any needed process information (e.g. processes, architectures, service repositories, and connected DMS) without BPM knowledge.
