Dear Aris community,
I am looking for the best practice to define the process maturity of processes.
We want to classify our processes in 5 categories, similar to the ones in this post. (Every single process - not the organization)

Is there an attribute or maybe another way to accomplish that?
Thanks
Fabian
Hello Fabian,
if you don't find the attribute, define it. If it helps your governance or reporting on maturity, add a custom attribute to the model types you want to classify.
However I wonder if this categorization makes sense in the sense of the article you refer to. The maturity of the organization is about how BPM is governed and managed, so in essence, what governance processes you have in place. I wonder if that is meaningful on the level of an individual business process, which cannot "know", how well it is governed, improved, measured etc.

Hello Mr. Zschuckelt,
thanks for your quick response.
I think i was not clear on the scope of our process maturity.
We have 5 categories for our processes:
1. Process is defined and documented - Initial
2. Organization and resources are defined - Managed
3. Process is executed - Standardized
4. Goal setting and performance are measured - Predictable
5. Continuous improvement - Optimizing.
This category is different for every of our processes. Anyhow, i think that a customized attribute is the best way to accomplish that and i will try it.
Cheers
Fabian
