Dear All,
I need to move Aris PPM 4.12 and Aris Server 7.0
from a old server Windows 2000 SP4 to a virtual server.
I would like to know if PPM and Architect can be virtualized without problem on VMware.
thanks

Hi Dario,
You can migrate your ARIS server on VMware. But ARIS only supports migration to VMware ESX 3.5 (Version 3.x Standard Ed.), higher versions are not supported as of now. They are planning to release support for VMware ESX 4.0 with SR2011_10; which is planned to release in January 2011.

Dario,
PPM also runs on VMWare. Check the platform matrix of your respective PPM version for details of which version you need and other constrains.
thank you both!
@Phil. I found all the information I need for the PPM 4.2. I need the same info also for PPM5, but I didn't find the pdf with the platform matrix into the docs forder in my PPM5 installation.
I'm coming back to this discussion, because I need to know if the planned release of jan 2001 (SR2011_10) is now available and PPM now support virtualization on VMWare 4.
I do not have an updated platform matrix for PPM 4.12 and PPM 5
thank you very much
Dario
