Ever heard of the ARIS Advanced Education Partnership (AEP) Program? It is designed to provide the easiest way to make ARIS available for education purposes of leading universities and business schools. I'd like to give you a concrete and successful example:
The Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management University of Applied Sciences (FOM) is one of the universities that take part in the ARIS Advanced Education Program for Universities and Business Schools of IDS Scheer.
In this context, Prof. Gregor Sandhaus invited Thomas Feld, Head of Research Projects of IDS Scheer, to give a presentation as guest speaker in his lecture "Software Engineering, IT-Project and Quality Management". According to Prof. Sandhaus, Feld added a particular value by describing new trends of prospective modeling in his presentation „ARIS Design Platform as a Tool for Process-Oriented Software Engineering": "Our students got a very practical insight into models of software engineering and employment. They attested a high practical relevance for the course. I appreciated if Thomas Feld could visit us next year again."
Research Projects offers an advanced education partnership (AEP) for BPM Process Design & Analysis and Process Intelligence & Performance Management.
The FOM and IDS Scheer has been collaborated for almost two years. The FOM is specialized in offering part-time courses to working people; with focus on practical experience the FOM encourages the knowledge transfer between universities and companies. Today, a total of about 15,000 students attend the FOM and successfully combine their study with working or completing an apprenticeship.
