ARIS Business Publisher Single Sign On

 

Hi Ganesh,   currently there is no "Single Sign On" implementation available in the ARIS Business Publisher out of the box. This would be the reason you didn't find any documentation or configuration entries about that topic.   SSO is only currently possible using indiviual add-ons and customizations.   Maybe the Publisher development team plan this feature for the next service releases.

 

Hi Guys,

I am a Technical Lead and done lot of customization. FYI, I've successfully developed and implemented SSO to ARIS Business Publisher (ARIS BP) Portal. Well, it is more a Sign-On-Once-A-Day solution that our business wanted. So the very first time ARIS BP is accessed, for the next 8 hrs we don't prompt a login-page. However, during this time, if the user's NT account is locked out, it'll prevent the user from accessing the site, since we do still AD validate the NTID each time the user accesses the ARIS BP portal.

FYI, our Platform is as follows:

• WINDOWS 2003 SERVER
• APACHE/TOMCAT
• ORACLE
• I.E.6.0 & I.E.8.0 clients

What config file must be changed and how? What are the interfaces you have to implement in order to customize the login process? Do you have any samples? Is your solution on sale?

Hi everyone,

since release SR 2 2011 Software AG offers a Single Sign On implementation for the ARIS Business Publisher. The SSO work together with the central user management. If you have installed ARIS Process Governance, you can use central user management to authenticate users.
