How to allow special character passwords for ldap authentication in ARIS Business Publisher

Dear all,

I am trying to enable LDAP authentication for the ARIS business publisher. When I test the ldap login via the business publisher website, i receive the following error message:

"The following special characters are not allowed: ? & < > " ' \ # % ^ * ( ) [ ] + _ { } ´ ` ~ = |"

My ldap setup makes use of on a Central enterprise LDAP server, and it is beyond my control to remove the special characters from the ldap passwords. Is there anyway to allow the business publisher to accept special characters for the ldap passwords?
