We'd been evaluating ARIS Express and came to realize it can't export the process model to .BPMN or .BPMN2 file formats. Can professional ARIS export to these standard XML format (file extensions .BPMN or .BPMN2)?

yes you can. The extension is .bpmn, which is the standard BPMN 2.0 format.
