Hello,
I want to make a flowchart & I know I can do that via (General Diagram). The flowcharts I have are originally process diagrams. They were made using Visio, I guess, which means I cannot link in between diagrams.
My issue as follow…
- I want to convert the flowcharts to ARIS in order to use this wonderful program freely.
- I need to divide my flowchart into Lanes or pools like the once in BPMN diagrams.
My questions are…
- Is there a way to add pools or lanes to general diagrams??
- If not, is there a way to convert all symbols from flowchart of BPMN??
Please please answer me quickly.
Best wishes,
Hadi
Hi Hadi.... There is a way to import Visio models into ARIS.. I am not sure what do you mean by general diagram. BPMN 2.0 specifications allows only a set of symbols only from which you can use to create models. May be you have to check if the symbols you used to create process models with BPMN 2.0 specifications. Hope this helps!
Cheers!

Both ARIS Express and the commericial ARIS Architect support import of Visio models. See here a similar question + answers: http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/xolisaqwaka/2013-01-09-import-visio-models-aris
