Catalog/Library Components of an Enterprise BPMN Collaboration Diagram (Roles, Applications)
Problem Statement: For Catalog objects, when the user starts to name any of the above-mentioned objects after placing it in the blank space, as soon as the user starts typing, ARIS shows a drop-down with similar named objects that are already existing. This list contains objects from the catalog along with the ones which were created accidently by users (which should not be used)
Solution Required: Can ARIS be configured in such a way that on typing, only the catalog items should appear in the drop-down ?and all the other objects (not created in catalog path) don’t are removed/hidden ?

Hi Hetal,
as nobody has react to this post or to the other similar requests so far, I will give some comments. The functionality of the repository is - as far as I know - as you describing, and I am also not happy with it. I do not know how to change the behaviour by customizing in the administration. If you have more than one modeler you have to find an organizational solution to handle it. The challenge is to profit from the repository doing changes of the attributes of global objects at one place and not to create more objects than necessary or to override attributes by mistake having changes in other models that are not be desired. Some things that might help: You can lock objects so that they cannot be changed by other modelers. Second you can place global objects in a special group so that it is easier to identify them. Third you can give them special names, e.g. write the name in capital letters. Any other suggestions from the community are welcome.
