Unique identifiers and analysis of used elements

Some years ago I was working with ARIS. When using new elements it was compulsive that you give them unique names. Thus made it possible to analyze the process objects and their connections. Also, if new attributes were added to an object, all instances of it got this attribute to. Is this behavior also possible for ARIS express elements?
