Hola Irene, buenas tardes.

Just for your consideration, the NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) v 4.0 is currently under development. However, I assume you are talking about using ARIS for modelling compliant to NAF v3.1. That means you want to create models, based on the NAF Meta-Model which is by the way identical to v1.2.003 of the MODAF Meta-Model (The British Ministry of Defence Architecture Framework).

ARIS does not support NAF or MODAF in their standard version. Due to the fact, that you can implement your own Meta-Model in ARIS, you can apply the NAF Meta-Model to ARIS as well.

However, because I already used ARIS for NAF modelling, I can confirm that it was always possible for me to develop the architecture with ARIS without changing the Meta-Model.

Some Nations using UML for NAF modelling. Maybe, you are aware that the NAF Meta-Model is defined with UML. Therefore, some of the Nations using their own UML profile. If you have access to such an UML file, you can also consider using ARIS UML designer for NAF modeling.

@Christoph Reich

sorry, but I would not call that UML. It is more a vendor own modeling notation. The tool the NATO uses ...

I really would appreciate UML, but ... :-(
