JA

We noticed an abnormal increase in our production database size overnight. We found that a change list entry was logged with the following information:

Change List Number -> 1

Timestamp -> 2012/01/24 10:23:09PM

User -> internal

Description ->  initial revision after restore from basic archive file.

We assume the change list was not created by an ARIS user or system user. We would like to know what the main source and possible cause was for this change list being created.

Thanks in advance,

Jared and team

Hi Jared,

This is the result when you back up a database that is not a "versionable" database and then, restore thast same database but this time as a "versionable" database. By default, the system creates ChangeList/Version 1 of the entire database content.

Best Regards,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the reply. Are there any log files or information in the database that will tell us who backed up and restored the database?

Regards,

Jared

Hi Jared,

I don't know specifically but, you can take a peek at the log files on the server which should be in:

<ARIS installation directory>\server\log

Best Regards,

Bob
