Hi all,
I have a client with a strange problem...when the ARIS test page (<server>/test/index.html) is loaded, all tests report "OK", however the read/write Java applets at the bottom of the page are failing. The client is using IE6, running Java version 6 update 16 (build 1.6.0_16-b01), and we are using ARIS 7.1.
Any assistance will be appreciated! Thanks, John
I neglected to mention that of course ARIS is not loading on this computer, hence my trying the test page. Here is a partial image of the test page results:
The message writeFile: caught i/o exception. means, there are missing write privileges in the target folder
Please check whether there is enough free disc space in the concerning folder e.g C:\Program files\ARIS7.1\downloadclient.
If yes please delete the directory and try again.
and the user need write at c:\documents and settings\user\aris71
another tip, configure your IE to run the download and plugins/active x
