Issue with licenses on ariscloud & java-app

Hello,

we have an active ariscloud and some issues with the licenses.

We have one architect and some designers. In the user manager these are correctly assigned. But only the architect can access the java applet "ARIS Architect/Designer" (from the client downloads). The designers get the message "no valid license to access this tool".

Designing inside the web-client is a pain if you know the nice java-client. Do I misunderstand the license, or can this be a bug or some issue during assignment?

I don't want to install the PC-client as it will be used on multiple places inside the company and this will be an additional process to align this with IT department.

I assume with "some designer" you mean teh ARIS Connect Designers? The ARIS Connect Designers are browser based clients, the ARIS Designer are the java clients which need a dedicated license

So with this license we can't use the java client? Can we use the PC client with it (even if I don't like this way) or is it really limited to the browser base designer?

Hi

With the license ARIS Connect Designer you can only use the browser based client. The Java Based Designer is the "ARIS Designer" . There is no way to mix these client licenses. It's also not possible to use an installed client with it. Do you mean this with "PC Client"?
