Differnce between Model Variants and Model Versions

Hi.

Variant is sort of "definition copy" of a model with an added attribute which tells you which is the "father model".

Version is a static photograph of a model at a specific time and cannot be modified anymore, not even delete.

Maybe is not so detailed explanation... but hope will help
