I am mapping the processes of functions on the production floor and warehouse for my company. We are evaluating different tools and ARIS was recommended. Both the BPMN and Business Process templates look suitable. Could someone provide feedback as to why one would be used over the other?

Hi,
in contradiction to business processes (or EPCs), BPMN is more often used to describe business processes from a more technical point of view.
Read more here (just used the search functionality in ARISCommunity with "bpmn epc"):

Could you please explain the business process templates? Would you know if any model type has been renamed and now called "Business Process Template"? I understand there are the following types of models that are generally used, some frequently, some rare. Which model types are you evaluating at the moment?
