hi,
I've been trying to have a dashboard visible in the fact sheet view of published content (in this case, a Customer Journey Map).
However, I can't find how to do this - I've created a dashboard, but can't find how to assign/associate it with the model. On the Connect viewer, under Dashboards on the Fact Sheet, it just says "Configured dashboards currently not available."

Did you already tried the procedure in ARIS Help dashboards for fact sheets?
There you can find the information how to display a dashboard as side dashboard for the fact sheet Diagram, or per model type or for a specific model on the tab/fact sheet Dashboards, or on the Dashboards view.
And make sure that dashboards privileges are properly set to enable access to the viewers.
