ARIS Design Server 9.8 Installation Error

Installation of ARIS Design Server 9.8 on freshly installed Windows Server 2012 R2 quits after 40 minutes with an error.

After a reboot the logfile is missing, the only thing I can remember is this:

Der Befehl "6mdd" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder...

Any clues?

Dear Johann,

Did you look for the setup log file ARIS_Install.log in %temp%?

On Windows Server I always start setup.exe via the context menu item "Run as Administrator".

Tried it a second time and chose explicitly "Run as Administrator". This time it worked, thank you!
