Hello all,
I am having trouble downloading ARIS express. When I try to download it the normal way, a message box pops up displaying "Error reading set up initialization file". Then I found this forum post http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/popdahl/2010-07-09-error-reading-setup-initialization-file . I tried use the shortcut that was provided but once again I had no luck.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

in your other post, you state that the installation succeeded, but you had another problem. Is that correct?

I have the same problem!!! just downloaded the setup, clicked the file and said "run"... the same "error reading setup initialization file" message came up... i am using java version 7. please help!

you could try http://download.ariscommunity.com/express.jnlp instead.
The setup does not support JRE 7, but JRE 6. We are going to update this in our FAQ.
