On June 4th, the German-speaking ARIS community got together at the ARIS UserDay in Darmstadt/Germany to discuss new Business Process Analysis, Enterprise Architecture and Governance, Risk & Compliance trends. Obviously, the new ARIS 9 release was also a major topic.
As usual I joined the customer presentation session to see how ARIS is used to solve business challenges. I saw presentations from Bosch, DHL, Coca Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG, Vienna Insurance Group, and Siegwerk Druckfarben AG. All presentations were great but I found the Siegwerk presentation held by Dr. Joerg Prust especially interesting.
Siegwerks vision was to establish a BPM organization with clear process ownership. They wanted to provide a template of globally standardized processes (SAP & non SAP) based on leading practices.
