Hello,
I would like to know if someone can point me to a document that shows the BPM synergy between webMethods BPM and ARIS. For example, do they share the same data model and how well integrated are the product sets. Can I use the webMethods solutions coupled with the ARIS solutions.
Thanks
Dear John,
at the moment we are discussion various intergration possibilities between ARIS platform and SAG products. A first integration (process export from ARIS to webMethods) has been released this month, but of course there are many other interesting topics: enhance the process interchange between ARIS and webMethods, intergrate ARIS and CentraSite in EA space, integrate ARIS PPM and wM Optimize, ...
Currently we have intensive diascussions around these topics and there were also first articles and presentations from our board members (Dr. Peter Kürpick, Dr. Wolfram Jost) describing the integration plans on a higher level. Detailed information will be published on our websites after the discussions have been finished.
Best regards
Uwe
Hello all,
About integration usages of Aris BPM & Webmethods (an BPMS):
I think the key levar was the support/promote of interoperable standards. i like wait official support of BPMN 2.0 standard in Aris&SAG portfolio tools. May be in the second semester of 2010.
So BP models provided by BP analyst role, can be "executed" (modulo some mapping work from BPMS developper/designer and BPMS integrator).
Note that other Business Artifact with non "agreed interoperable standard" description languages (eg. Business Rules, kpi) must be also mapped. Idem Business Process Intelligence (BAM),
regards
Hi Djebar,
just a quick note. BPMN 2 support is available in our professional products and in ARIS Express.
