As it ist not possible to create an occurence copy in ARIS Express, I wonder how to convice a potential customer to shift to ARIS Business Architect? Are you working on features for ARIS Business Architect/Designer to automatically change some objects to occurence copies?

we discussed very long internally if ARIS Express should have a concept of an occurrence copy in ARIS Express. In the end, we decided against it, because we think the idea of having occurrences and definitions is very hard to understand if you are a novice user (target group of ARIS Express). So we left it out, knowing that we are running into some problems whan upgrading ARIS Express content to a full version. Currently, we don't plan to have an automated mechanism for that.

the user will be able to import ADF models from Express into ARIS Business Server. Since we do not have reusage of objects in Express, it will be necessary to consolidate data in ARIS Business Server.
ARIS Business Architect provides a standard mechanism to do so, but as Sebastian mentioned, that is not an automated step. Imaging collecting multiple processes from different Express users: since on the objects, important information can be maintained (in the attributes), you need to decide, which objects you really want to use as "original".
Just use the standard search to find objects having the same name, this can be done easily with just one click. On the found objects, start the consolidation and search choose the object you want to have as the original. That's it.

I've seen several references to future capability to import ARIS Express models into ARIS Business Architect. Will the same be true for ARIS IT Architect? Please say "Yes" so I don't have to purchase yet another license and switch back and forth between them constantly!
