Hello, I'm new to Process Live and I am trying to map a BPMN Process Diagram. How to I add labels to my exit connectors from an exclusive gateway? For example, yes or no.
Thanks
Neil

Hi Neil,
I'm not sure whether I understand your question aright. Perhaps the answer is too obvious/easy.
1) Click the connection.
2) Start the 'Properties' dialogue (the icon with the 'i') on the right hand side.
3) Select 'More attributes" at the bottom of the 'Properties' dialogue.
4) Select an appropriate attribute (we typically use 'Conection role')
5) Enter your text.
6) Place the attribute by using 'Attribute placement/Create attribute placement...' in the menu bar.
That's all.

Jutta
Hello Jutta,
I had the same problem that Neil had. However, I figured out the steps you wrote in your mail.
Now... is there an easy way to do that, I mean, you listed 6 steps to write a label and there are other modeler tools which let you do that only by pressing the "F2" key.
Thanks in advance!

Javier
Hi - I echo Javier's request. There should be an easy way to add a label to a connector line (for example, by double-clicking on a connector instead of having to right-click, navigate a menu to select Properties, then edit navigate multiple parts of another menu... )
In addition: the connector label should not have to have the frame around it. it is just a label, not a comment. Having the frame around the label adds visual clutter and confusion, especially in dense areas of the diagram like gateways (which is where I need the labels the most!).
