Hello,
I want to restrict the connections to and from activities to one single sequence flow to allow joining and splitting of flows in BPMN only by gateways. I know this is a restriction compared to the standard specification, but some designers tends to use it extensively without being always clear about the semantic of the created model.
Is there any way to realize it by configuration?

no, I'd say you have to use Semantic Checks to achieve this.
